Nothing major to report :)

Once again, it's quiet on the pet health front. We don't know how long that will last, but hopefully everyone will be healthy for a while.

The rottweiler boys have had a couple of minor things going on.

Jake had a nasty sounding cough for a few days which was possibly a reaction to his bordetella vaccine. Or not. I really don't like giving so many routine vaccinations now that the dogs are all technically senior citizens. But since they need to be boarded twice a year and our preferred boarding kennels all require them, we don't have much choice.

Oscar has a minor eye infection which was aggravated by the fact that he opens the back screen/storm door with his head, and the decorative scrolling on the door was exactly at irritated eye level. Owwwwwww.

Awww, poor babies!! Hope their troubles stay minor!

Hi Kathi! Hope Jake's cough and Oscar's eye are much better. I read an article in this week's People magazine about Janet Jackson's rottweiler "Riley" and I thought of you! :) Miss you at the Bar & Grill...hope the real world is being nice to you! Hope you're having as nice of weather in IL that we're having here...it's been beautiful the past 3 days. :) Just popped in to say "HI" and hope all is well with you, Kathi! ((HUGS)) :)

Hope the boys feel better soon ! *huggs*

I'm sorry about Oscar. I hope he'll be fine though. It's good that things are kind of quiet. I like it when things are all going well for hte most part. I hope you're having a good weekend. I'm just reading some blogs and thought I'd say hi. :-)

Sending positive thoughts and well wishes to all of you.
((hugs))

he'll learn to avoid it somehow, Harley's completely blind now and was running into the eye level coffee table quite a bit at first, now he's gotten to where he sniffs in front of him before walking and only bumps into things occasionally, he even manages the stairs! I think we're going to get him an injection to kill the nerves in his eyes so that he can be more comfortable and so we can stop all the eye medications that are oh so pricey, we met a cocker spaniel that had had the procedure and was just as happy as ever! Sorry for rambling.....

Poor Oscar!! Poor baby! He'll learn...someday...:)
