Update... Just some quick notes

Charlie the cockatiel is starting to feel better and seems to be settling back in to life at home. This article sounds a lot like our life right now

Yuki cat goes in tomorrow for another blood glucose curve to see if she can remain off the insulin injections.

The first available appointment at the neurologist for Missy the rottweiler isn't until next Wednesday; hopefully all will be well till then.

Random cat's asthma seems to be well under control at this time with 1/4 of a 100mg aminophylline tab, 3x per day.

And it's been nearly a week and I still haven't been able to introduce you to the rest of the crew: rottweilers Heidi, Oscar and Jake ... Annie cat ... and green cheeked Amazon parrot Spot. All in due time, I am sure!

I remember those days. :P Usually it was nail trimming the rosellas. Only one of them was partially tame. Fred, the first survivng chick from Buddy and Teddy had a beak growth deformity. It would grow too long and curve under. Had to be trimmed about every three months. I took him to the vet for that though. heh Even though he was hand tame (and would get under my hair at the back of my neck and nibble), I'd rather let the vet do that sort of thing. You ever been bit by a cockatoo? Owies. Glad to hear Charlie is doing well!

*giggle* the bird medication page is quite funny! I've had some severe gashes on my arms from the claws of struggling piggies. I've learned the trick of wrapping them up into a towel and pig burrito. Yummy! *grin*
