I'm thinking the photos might add too much overhead for the folks on dialup. If you have a moment, leave me a comment or tag me and let me know what you think!

I like seeing Jake pop up. I have cable internet access so most thing do not lag for me.
I have crappy dialup and a slow computer and live on the other side of the world and the photo popped up straight away. Also the whole page loaded in the same time as it normally does (which is fine). And the photo looks really good. So I say keep it. :D
I think the photos are a cute addition to the blog and you are familiar enough to know what's "too much" on the lag thing *grins*
Maybe what you can put them off on the side somewhere when they're done and people can pick and choose @ photos or straight text/info?
